EE Package - Am I smelling BS or roses?

Hi guys,
I'd just like to run this one by someone because I'm not sure if I've got a really good deal or if I've been fed a line in order to switch.
I currently have the following with Sky: Broadband, Landline and a full TV package with Sports and Movies, which sets me back around £75 per month.
I was contacted by EE today (I checked the number, it was definitely EE and not a third party) who advised that they could offer broadband and landline for £18 per month, and that they have a deal with Sky that means my remaining TV package would then cost me £27 per month. Altogether, that's a saving of nearly £30 per month. I've got two weeks cooling off period, but I'd just like to check to see if anyone else has been offered this deal by EE? I have no doubts about the 18 per month for unlimited broadband and landline, but if the charges for Sky don't reduce then I'll end up being the one out of pocket. I've checked on an online price comparison and the package I have without broadband etc would be £51.50, not the 27 per month mentioned by EE.
Should this go south and I still get charged the £51.50 by Sky, would this count as mis-selling, and would I have any recourse to recover any funds that I lost.
As an aside, between the original call with EE and the second one where I confirmed I wanted to go ahead, I spoke with Sky, and the best they could offer was discounting Sports & Movies by £15 for three months, and free broadband.

I think they have been telling porkies. They certainly dont have any sort of deal with Sky. It is mis-selling but you need to prove that. Unless you recorded the call that wont be easy because i can 100% guarantee they wouldnt have.0

Dammit, I know better than to listen to those people randomly calling up. I'm blaming it on being tired and stressed when they caught me. Request to cancel submitted and lesson learned.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Complete rubbish from EE! Why would Sky actively encourage their customers to move to a rival by offering them discounted TV if they did?0

Probably porkies but you should also consider that EE has an appalling reputation for customer service while Sky is relitively good. I wouldn't take an EE product if they paid me.0

Looking back, I can't believe I fell for this. This is the kind of stuff I have to warn my mum about every few months or so. I wasn't even drunk, just tired.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Dont feel too bad about it. We all like to think we would never fall for scams etc but i dont think there is anyone posting on this board who hasnt felt they have been ripped off at some point.0
