    Any claims company that anyone uses is not necessary, they cant do any more that what you can do yourself.

    Do it yourself for free using the procedure here;

    Claims companies do very very little and charge a whole whole lot.

    Legitimate as in they are authorised to act as a CMC then yes. Legitimate as in they can do any more than you can, no. Neither you nor they can "claim back" PPI just because you feel like it. You complain if you have reason and the bank will investigate it like any normal complaint. But if you do have reason you may as well complain yourself rather than use them. They will only take a cut of your money if you get anything.
  • they are woeful I have the misfortune to be with them avoid 100%
  • stay away from the company
  • do not use this company, you end up doing the work, ie chasing around for account no etc. and they fail to update you as to the status of your claim.

    AKA every claims company

    Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

    People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
