We're going to London 8th - 12th December, hopefully we'll miss the Spanish and Italian crowds. We were hoping that going during the week would mean less crowds than at the weekends, especially in December.

You should be ok on those dates. Tell your mum to bring her ice skates, they have a temporary ice rink in front of the Nat History Museum every December...:)

Nobody's mentioned the V&A - my favourite of the London museums. I can spend all day there - have a look at their website, see if anything appeals, but it always blows me away.

paddyrg, mum's already visited the V&A in the past, these are the two she hasn't managed to visit before.

SW17 - I can't imagine my mum trying ice skating. She'll be hunting out every hobby horse carousel though :)
  • If you see the mummies at the British Museum I think it is also worth a look at the Lindow man. It is the body of an Iron Age man found in a bog in Cheshire

Aiming to do both in one day is a bit ambitious - you'll either have to rush around or run out of time. Also, they are big and you'll be leg weary by the end of one.

The Science Museum is next door to the Natural a History and also free.
I also love like the Victoria and Albert.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.

The V&A is just across the road from the Natural History & Science museums.

We have no intention of doing both in one day. We're in London for 3 full days so we can spread out our visits.

Mum has already visited V&A so she's not too bothered about going there again.

Lincoln House Private Hotel, Premier Inn Cardiff City Centre, BEST WESTERN PLUS New House Country Hotel. These are the some most popular and amazing Hotels in Cardiff. I think you should choose one from these hotels.

Umm...think you meant to post this on "cheap hotel in Cardiff" thread..?
