Toyota Exhust

Hiya all driving back on motorway and an exhust bracket broke causing my exhust to drag on motorway!

RAC man bodged it to get me home but says the bracket is broke and maybe the exhust box?:confused::confused:

Any idea what sort of bill iam looking at?

its a Toyota corolla 1.4gs

    What year is the car?

    If its an old car then don't go to a dealer to get it fixed otherwise you'll be ripped off. Instead go to a local mechanic or dare I say it, an exhaust centre to get a nice cheap fix.

    Definitely worth getting the yellow pages out and getting a number of quotes- when the back box on my car needed replacing I got quotes all the way from £140 at the dealers down to £50. Pays to ring around.
