2x barclay cards

I have a sainsburys, HSBC and barclaycard and am looking to BT sainsburys + HSBC to a 0% deal.

Spoke to my existing barclaycard and they can only offer me 6.9% of the lifetime of the debt (no 0% deals).

Using the eligibility CC checker it says im 90% likely to get barclaycard for a BT as a new customer. Are you allowed to get 2 of the same card?

Would you advise going with another barclaycard, or a different provider of 0% BT, eg. Halifax?

Comments

  • Yes you can hold multiple cards with the same provider.

You need to however check the terms of any promotional introductory offers as these are frequently limited to "new customers" and not available to those that hold/ recently held another product with them.

I have two Barclaycards and did receive the promo on both but the promotions were different (0% on one and Hilton Hhonor points on the other) and its less common for these to be blocked
