    the meat juices would condense on the lid and drip into the veg side. I couldn't stomach that as a veggie myself!

    I also thought that might be an issue so I mentioned it in my first post, but the OP didn't seem to think it would be a problem.

    I totally see your point, but many people on the Amazon Q&A were using theirs for meat/vegan meals, and meat/veggie without any problems. So surely it would be pointless of them to make a divided one if the taste of the dishes transferred between the two?

    I'll have a check of the range and Robert Dyas ones, thank you. Space is a bit of an issue which is why I thought getting one combined cooker would take up less room than two separate ones.

    I think BrassicWoman has it right about the condensation:
    the meat juices would condense on the lid and drip into the veg side. I couldn't stomach that as a veggie myself!
    My slowcooker gets a lot of condensation and I can't really see the divided dish fitting flush to the lid as the lid is domed.

    I guess it's up to you whether that would be an issue for you as a vegetarian.
