**it's amazing that the spammer is going to the trouble of setting up an avatar for each one**
MSE's system now allocates one of the standard 'avatars' (pictures, really :whistle:) to each new account that is created - whether by a human, a spambot, or something else.
Still, look on the bright side, MSE ... the number of registered users of this site has presumably been given a hefty boost.
