Top notch holiday to Goa

Me and my other half are looking for a really nice hotel (on a beach & all inclusive) in Goa. I've heard that Candolim is one of the better places to go. Has anyone been, and if so where do you recommend? We are planning on going the middle two weeks in November. Also who is the better tour operator for this area?

Ta for your help.

First Choice are IMO the best at Long Haul to the likes of Goa.
We went to South Goa Holiday Inn.Its 4 star right on Mobur beach, near Cavelossim. I wouldnt go AI as you are restricted to eating and drinking in the hotel.
Theres 4 beach shacks just outside the hotel boundary -Fishgrill, Sams, Mikes and Bettys where you can eat for £2 or £3 inc a drink Theres a few other resturants at the front entrance and Cavelossim is £1 in a taxi for even more choice.
Its a bit of a culture shock, poverty wise but the Goan people are so nice

I wouldn't go all inclusive either as your stuck when you got to be in the hotel and the food outside is really good .
Candolium is great for 2 weeks holiday,i much prefer Calangute and Baga.
budgetflyer is right with First Choice, seem to be much better than Monarch . Not sure if the timetable is up yet for the charter flights to Goa. I always go by Scheduled flights cause i stay in India for 6 months .
My friend went to Goa last Nov for 2 weeks for £195 just the flight from Manchester !She booked through Travel Republic.
I wouldn't bother going for a top notch hotel as you will never be in it !
