Recommend me a laptop please

I want to get rid of our bulky computer desk and PC to free up some space at home.
The laptop would need enough resources to let me edit photo's and video's whilst also be able to watch films etc effortlessly. Want to have a good battery, large storage and probably no bigger than a 15" screen.
I probably wouldn't be taking the laptop out too much either, mostly for use in the home.
Not too fussed if best approach is via a Mac.
