As of yesterday , a new law is in force which should put an end to all those tales of people being clamped on private land for no good reason.

...and most unlicensed clampers are still at large are as well. According to the papers, only 100s of clampers have actually applied for licenses, meaning there's still 1000s unlicensed. This could be a good loophole - demand to see their license or you'll ring the police. Of course, given the nature of some of the "unlicensed claming professionals", you may fiind that your face is re-arranged in the meantime....I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0
