Just out of curiosity, which banks and bank accounts (besides Natwest) offer a top up mobile phone facility in the cash machine and with the bank account?
All I know Natwest bank accounts (including the First Reserve savings account, which has a card) has this facility on their bank accounts and on the cash machine..

Mobile Phone Top-Up (You can now top up your prepay mobile phone airtime at over 26,000 cash machines. Cash machines that offer top up will have the green top up logo (see left) displayed next to the search results. This service is currently available to cardholders of Clydesdale Bank, Co-Operative Bank, Coventry Building Society, Creation Financial Services, First Direct, First Trust Bank, HSBC, LloydsTSB, NatWest, Nationwide, Royal Bank of Scotland and Yorkshire Bank.

I think all cardholders should be able to top up their mobile phones at cash machines no matter what bank you are with... It's better that way.0
