Haven't got a Blockbuster very near me, but would like to remind all MSEers that your local library will stock DVDs for between £1-£3 for a whole week! Kids ones are nearly always a quid, adult ones can be £3 for new releases. And you may even get your kids into reading while you're there! Libraries often have summer reading challenges for kids, with stickers and medals, etc.

Blimey your library is very reasonable wiggly worm (love your handle BTW).

Our library charges £2.50, £3.50 for really new releases no matter whether childs or adult title.
£1.50 for regular kids but mostly old crusty titles?!!! (can loan kids titles for a week which, means it's inevitable to fall foul of overdues at some point!).
However, that's not the worst of it! Charge 50p per day for overdue titles regardless of whether it's a dinosaur of a DVD or not!
Got stung like this last week, suddenly caught in my ear .........."MUuuuuMmm!.... This DVD has to go back".................. "Last week?!!!" Luckily she'd only asked to loan one that time round!!!

No time to go to the library that day.......They refuse to renew DVD's over the phone!.........Won't permit online renewal either! So, forced to have to let extortionate fine keep mounting until the next day!!!
Think this is what they bank on happening often with kids, (Greedy councils - Hate 'em!)

So me thinks this Blockbuster offer is great!! :T
    THANKS LURLEENE:beer:
