Toys r us returns

Hi, I ordered a car seat from toysrus online at the start of September but have now changed my mind and would like to return it. It's too late to send back but wondering if I took it into a store would I get a credit note. There's nothing on their website about late returns. Not expecting any cash back but would be more than happy with a credit note. Thanks!

When was the car seat delivered and has it been opened at all?

If it is outside the returns policy/CCRs then you have no right to a refund or credit note, your only chance really is to go to your local branch and be extra polite and nice to customer services and hope that they will allow a return/exchange, they may not be able/allowed to though.

Your other option would be to sell it privately, you may not get as much as you paid for it but at least you would have the cash to spend on something you do want.

That should read "no right" :)
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
