NatWest Insurance

Has anyone had any luck with claiming money that has been stolen from them, through NatWest insurance?
I may make a claim for money stolen from my house. This was during an occasion when I had guests around.
With NatWest, is there usually an excess for claiming money? Some providers don't have one. Is money usually covered?

Natwest are not an insurer. They will place the business with either a selection of firms (as a broker) or through a tied agency - usual if the insurance is tied to a mortgage.
The only way to know what the cover is would be to check the policy document along with the policy schedule. This shows which sections apply.
You also need to check the insurers definition of loss and theft. Some may exclude accidental loss of money - e.g. dropped it in the street.
Others may exclude theft of money unless their has been an actual break in or force was used.
Out of interest, do you suspect a guest and if so, what have you done? Most insurers will insist the matter was reported to the police.0 -

I believe Natwest, in common with the rest of RBSG, use UK Insurance, which is the insurance arm of RBSG itself. Hence, it will be a UKI policy.Free is my favourite price!0
