Hi All
MIL passed with very little in the estate.
Am I correct in completing IHT205 form only?
Very grateful.

If it's nowhere near the Inheritance Tax threshold then probably. There are a couple of questions on there about pensions and gifts which might direct you to fill in the longer forms if certain answers apply.
If you're unsure in your specific situation then you can ring the Probate Registry and they are usually very helpful.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Then I'd say check through the questions and make sure there isn't anything you need to explain further.
You rarely need to complete the IHT400 unless the Estate is near or over the IHT threshold, it's just the occasionally things that they might need you to explain on a longer form.
Is there any particular reason you think the form isn't the right one?:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

No hun - just don't want to get it right not wrong. No assets but lots of liabilites so should be quite easy xTotal Quidco earnings - £547.98

As you mention the assets vs liabilities - if you're dealing with an Estate that doesn't end up with a few quid in it, but has more debt than funds to pay the debt off, do your best not to administer it at all x:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls
