Could my partner be entitled to benefits if she left her job after maternity leave. Would she just get child allowance and JSA ?. I am carrying on working but my wage of 20k will be a struggle for all three of us with bills and food etc.

she may be sanctioned for leaving a hob if she claims JSA.
you can claim child tax credits as a couple and you may also get some help with rent and council tax

Ideally she wants to leave work but no chance if she can not get at least 400 ppound month.0

as i said .... she will be sanctioned for JSA if she voluntarily leaves a job.
JSA is also only awarded if she is actively seeking employment, so if she wants to stop working for the time being, she wouldnt be entitled to JSA.
have a look on https://www.entitledto.co.uk
its a benefit calculator
