Hi guys,
I have a friend who runs a small business (chinese take-away) and wishes to take card payments from over the phone, does anyone know what the best one he could use? I looked at the paypal one but seems I think the person must be present with the card?
does anyone recommend any good deal out there for him? as his bank want transaction charges plus about £20 per month to use it for his business.
I do understand most of them do charge transaction charges but wonder what the best deal would be for him for his situation.

No idea what the best is. https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/phone . £20 charge plus fees.0

Avoid worldpay zinc like the plague , just had an absolute day from hell with them .0

Would recommend Cardsave - used in the past. Need to be careful with all card processing companies though, make sure you have a good idea of what their MMSC charge is and if you think your card charges will meet this.

I've had no problem with WorldPay Zinc. Excellent service.0

For clarity, if he's taking phone orders, chip and pin isn't going to help a lot as there's no card present. He needs an online metastable account of some kind, worldpay do them, I'm sure others do too.0
