I've seen a plant in someone's front garden that I like but I can't find out what it is. Google usually tells me eventually but I can't find this one!
It's very similar to the plant in the picture, so I think it could be related to that one, but it's covered in clusters of little red berries. Can anyone tell me what it could be please?

The berries are bigger than the ones on that link and they don't seem to be on brush like branches like those, so I don't think it's that. The leaves are the same though.
I'd have taken a picture but I think it would look a bit suspicious!0 -

I think it could be this, but it has a lot more berries than this.

It could be a Skimmia japonica female shrub as females can produce attractive red berries in May to June. look for Skimmia japonica 'Rubella' female :money:0

I have a really large skimmia that is the same as the one in the link you posted dirty_magic and it has lots of berries on it now. But I don't know which species it is as it was in the garden when we moved here....sorry0
