Clear out
Cleared out the green house, empited out the hanging baskets .
Have declared Summer over, but it lasted a long time and in the main was a success.
Note, less cucumbers, more courgettes, less runner beans , more dwarf beans.
Replace most of the strawberries, more variety, extend the season.
Hope for a success with the new soft fruit cage.
Keep up the good work on the lawn, hope the pond is as good next year.

We have our own traditions, a long walk , to a pub , meeting old friends ( some of which , will be the first time that year).
I just pick a warmish day very late in the season. Don't have to rush, not freezing to death0
