Some are very good and some do seem to take the P.
A little while back a seller sent me the wrong items and hinted i was trying to scam them. Detailed photo's showed them their packages and the wrong items.
UK sellers can be just as bad though. Bought some items last week, Everything but one arrived by Saturday. Still nothing in todays post.
Then the seller contacts me to say they dont have any in stock and they are due any day now.
I could probably have ordered them from China in the same timeframe, But i need them now. Typical.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
There are a few Chinese sellers who seem to all be accounts belonging to the same company, which enables them to spam the uk eBay site and stifle out the exposure of the uk offerings. They've even done this with some niche items creating way too many ads for something unbelievably slow selling and unique.
On one occasion, they actually copied my text, and then the text gradually appeared on all the other new listings for the item from their other accounts. So when I had to complain to eBay about it, I had to complain about 8 or 9 different sellers.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. China post was a little held up at the beginning of the month due to 'Golden Week' where everything stops for a week. I've found anything ordered end september/beginning October has been a little slow.0

Most of my items are still arriving within the month- these items, which are still outstanding are way past that now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Its bigger than that. Some Chinese sellers have their own warehouses near the ports. They ship in container loads of stuff, declare the value much lower than it is so they pay less import duty/vat and then they don't pay any UK VAT on the sales. Its fraud on a huge scale by what I would imagine is 100's if not 1000's of sellers. Of course most people don't even know they are overseas sellers as the stuff is being posted from within the UK.Deleted_User wrote: »I'm not saying all do, but it has been known for some chinese power sellers to ship pallets worth of stock over to a mate in the UK to post out as and when instructed to by the said ebay seller.0
