Faulty pram advice needed please

Hello all,
I bought a concord pram system from my local pram shop in November. I didn't start using the pram until March 16th as this was the day my daughter was born. So the pram is nearly 1 year old but has only been used for nearly 7 months.
Within a couple of months we started having problems with the front swivel wheels where they shudder. The store were great and it was sent straight to the manufacturer in London for repair in August.
The same problem has started happening again, it's very intermittent and only happens some of the time so is very difficult to demonstrate the problem to the store. I can't even pinpoint a reason for the problem, such as weather, road surface etc.
I obviously use the pram every day and paid a lot of money for it so expected it to last longer than 7 months.
The store have offered their in store engineer to look at it and then perhaps send it to London again.
My problem: the longer I leave it (just getting repaired) it will be out of warranty. Therefore if the problem occurs again they won't replace it.
Do I just ask for a replacement now? Or do I let them attempt to repair it again? Can I legally ask for a replacement at this stage?

You can legally ask for a replacement, but they don't have to give you one.
In fact, at no point under law do they (unless their guarantee says they do), they can continue repairing for the next 6 years. After the warranty period is up though, you may need to get an independent engineers report saying the fault is inherent before they will do anything, as then you will be claiming under the Sale of Goods Act rather than the warranty.0 -

Now come on, the law doesnt say that, does it? While at present it may not be defined, courts will still rule based on whats fair/reasonable. And unlimited attempts to repair is not reasonable.
