Confirmation of online TSB application?

I've just applied online to open a TSB account. I thought it had all gone through OK but got a message to say that it had timed out and I had to start again. I did this but then got a message to say I had already applied for an account.
I haven't had an email or text to say the application was accepted. Does anyone know how long that would take, or whether i would just get something in the post?

I applied last week and received a email straight away to confirm the application was received.
Then a few days later received another email with a sort code and account number asking to take my ID to my local branch within the next 31 days to ensure the account would be officially opened.
I took my ID in and the a few days later recievd confirmation again via email that my account was officially open.
I have still to receive my card etc, but I have access to online banking.
I found the process very easy and efficient.

noel that will be too late! I had exactly the same as you yesterday and couldn't retry straight away.
I just tried again and it all went through OK this evening. I think they must junk the failed/timed out applications overnight so you can try again next day.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
I had exactly the same thing. Didn't receive any confirmation and tried to call them on their helpline and eventually gave up and went elsewhere.0
