Moving for the first time... Can I do this?!

I've been living on my own since I was 18 quite happily plodding along with life but it's time to move on to something bigger & better so London here I come. It's a month before my move and I'm a bit confused what I should be doing about changing my address.
I have taken a room for a year but after that I don't know where I will be, there is a chance I will have to move again and thinking ahead I am worried about the negative impact on my credit file - I've been very careful to build it up knowing that one day I will most likely want a mortgage and I would hate to undo my work.
I was thinking about registering all my financial accounts (have 3 current accounts, 4 credit cards - all paid off monthly I might add just use for the cashback/points/protection) to my parents address and registering on the electoral register there or is that very naughty?!
Really not sure of the best way to manage this. Would also prefer any post that does come from the banks to go home rather than to a shared address so that's another benefit
Any advice greatly appreciated

Transfer to your new address, everyone moves, any impact on credit is short term for a few months.0

Have everything registered in one address.
This should be the address that you actually live at - if you have concerns about security of your mail you could ask for the statements to be sent to your parents.
If you don't do this it can create a number of issues in the future.0 -
Thanks, i will register everything to my new address then even if will be moving around regularly for the next few years.
I always thought this looked poor and my brother struggled with his mortgage being in the military & not having a fixed address for a long enough period but maybe that wasn't the real reason - it's what he told me!:j :j0
