Cleaning the outside of upstairs windows

Has anyone had any experience using the telescopic poles to clean the upstairs windows. I have double glazed windows so I dont think the magnetic wipers are any use.
I'm just wondering how useful they are, do they leave streaks, are they heavy etc etc
Was thinking of something like this

Buy a ladder. Or get a window cleaner.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

I've seen professional window cleaner use poles for higher windows, streaks are down to the product you use not whether you use a pole.
Even if you end up using a product that does leave a couple of streaks, still better than dirty windows.0 -
I gave up trying to do mine and got a window cleaner to come once a month. It's well worth the money imho0
