I would like to download Firefox on my laptop. Can anyone send me a link to a safe site to download it from? Or let me know where I can do this.


Is there anything I need to look out for when downloading?

What's wrong with downloading it directly from Mozilla? No extras and ad banners there.

And of course, once it's installed any updates will come direct from mozilla anyway, so there seems little point in getting it from anywhere else in the first place. Some people seem to have a thing for filehippo even when it's clearly not the most suitable option.

I normally point people to www.getfirefox.com goes to straight to the Mozilla download page with the obvious download button front and centre and is easy enough to remember.

I hope you'll take this as positive advice rather than criticism, but if you have difficulty identifying the correct safe download link for Firefox, you should really think twice about downloading anything at all without getting advice from us here or on a similar forum.
