For future reference, there's a garage up behind the old Lidl store opposite glengormley, doesn't look like much but very good and very reasonable. They did a couple of awkward jobs for me very quickly and cheaply. I left the car into them for a couple of days to fix an intermittant fault, they stripped most of the engine down couldn't find the problem and refused to charge me.

So they were unable to fix you car?

Problem only happened once, couldn't find the issue myself straight away and it never happened again, still expected to pay something for the time they spent on it.
Intermittent maybe isn't the right word to describe a fault that happens once then stops?

    Folks, an update.
I ended up getting brakes done at local garage in Glengormley, in my lunch hour - new front and rear pads -£100 fitted, no other work needed!
Kwik Fit are cowboys out and out !! UNBELIEVABLE.

As per the first line of my first post.

Doesnt surprise me. They have a bad name for it.

Good to get the car sorted. :T
