Broken Front Door Lock, help please

Hi all, my ERA front door lock has broken, it would not open so had to force it, so it is not repairable. I've looked on ebay but it seems I can buy a 40mm or a 60mm but whichever way I measure mine it is at least 80mm. I have a feeling I am measuring the wrong part. Here is a link to one on ebay:

Can anyone advise me which one to buy?
Thanks
I'll try to get a pic of mine up in a minute.

Hi MM, the 40mm or 60mm measurement refers to the "backset" of the lock. This is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole.
If the part that you put the key in (cylinder) is no longer on the door just measure from the edge of the door to the centre of the circular hole in the door and this will be either 40 or 60mm
The one in your photos looks like a 60mm backset one but check..0 -
When you start to fit the new one you may well find that the 2 new bolts that fix the cylinder (keyhole part) will be too long and you will need to cut them to length with a hacksaw. Or if you still have them re-use the old bolts as they will already be the right length.. Reason the new ones may need cutting is because modern doors can be up to 57mm thick so they supply longer bolts ,older doors were always 44mm thick.0

Hi, thank you Leveller and everyone who replied, I have measured outside the door and it's about 60mm, so will go with that one.
I managed to get locked in 10 minutes before a house viewing. I supposed it was lucky I was inside and could jemmy it open.
