Visage composite doors

Onepick

Getting a quote for a Visage composite door. Has anyone got good or bad info on them. Ours would be in direct sunlight and would probably be the Rosewood (mahogany colour).

A quick look on the web suggests this is a national web supply company. If so I would be avoiding them. In essence, I would not know where the door was made, who made it, nor the back up. I would be going local - there are loads of local supply and fit companies.
If you are using a local supply and fit company, you should still check out where the door is made, where does the slab come from, what accreditation goes with the door, what Energy Rating, is it triple glazed, what certification for the Energy Rating and Security - and will you be getting a personalised individual copy of this - the list goes on, so over to you.
Finally, the price - a typical door supply and fit locally to me is being advertised at around £800. I know I can negotiate on this, and I know that you could buy a decent door and frame for about £500. (A standard door from B&Q or Wickes could be cheaper.)
Hope this helps.0
