Any ideas where i stand with this?

Got to say I'm absolutely disgusted the way i have been treated by Harveys.Ordered a suite on the 9/1/14,suite gets delivered the 13/6/14.but it is damaged.so they order a new suite to replace it.Phone call the start of September to inform me that the new suite had been delivered to the warehouse damaged therefore they would not deliver it to me!!! Promised me they would order another one!!!.
Decided to phone yesterday so to see if they had an expected delivery date. Was then informed, sorry the suite has been discontinued and had never been ordered!!! So here was me hoping to get a new delivery date and they couldn't even let me know they couldn't order me my original choice. There pitiful offer,£200 for my 10 months of inconvenience, and i can re-select a new suite. The only suite i have seen that matches the quality of my original is approx £500 more expensive (and i probably would meet them half way with this.)
.Harveys response to that was basically tough, pick a lower quality suite.Feel sorry for the customer advisors who are forced to spout this rubbish to customers. Now i don't know if i can ask for a like for like replacement,as when i was in the shop the Harveys salesman told me that the range they had got in to replace my one was called Crew. When i checked on there website this range is more expensive than the one i have picked out!!!.

Another problem i have is that if i do decide that i want to get my suite elsewhere, and as you know some delivery times are up to 16 weeks, would i be within my rights to keep the damaged suite that harveys until my new suite has arrived?. As i am still paying for the suite and have been for the last few months which is damaged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Scott

Why not just get a full refund and order elsewhere?
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

To be honest that's what i've been thinking, just annoys me that i still haven't got a suite that is not damaged after 10 months
