Hello, I'm a single Pringle .
I have jobs around my home that needs to be done , light fitting to go up , curtain pole area to be secured , a heavy mirror shelf to go up tree to be trimmed down .:)
I've advertised on the sites that you can for someone , but to date had no response .
So , does anyone know where I can go know , local papers and shop windows don't carry those adverts like they used to
Thanks in advance for your replies and support

My local shop has an ad board as does the supermarket. Local paper advertises whatever you pay them to. But if you're not local to me that maybe a waste of your time.
Your location would help.0 -

Our local papers are full of adverts for handymen for all sorts of trades.0 -
See if the Trading Standards scheme covers your area : http://buywithconfidence.gov.uk/
There's also a government backed scheme : http://www.trustmark.org.uk/
or try the Age Concern website - my local one lists trades people they've vetted.0 -
Checkatrade has a handyman/property maintenance section. Might be worth a shot0
