Hi Guys, I set up Lloyds Club ok last month, everything ok, EXCEPT, I asked for annual interest instead of Monthly, like I had my Classics and all my others.Mistake;;, can I change back to Monthly?
Is it any difference, beneficial, Month/Annual, apart from being able to transfer it back to my linked A?c regularly.?

If you're referring to the Club Lloyds Saver, I'm pretty sure you can change. Call PhoneBank.DEBT FREE!
Debt free by Xmas 2014: £3555.67/£4805.67 (73.99%)
Debt free by Xmas 2015: £1250/£1250 (100.00%)0 -
If your current account has the full £5K balance all the time, you will do better with monthly interest as you can then skim off the interest into another account that pays interest. If you left the interest payments in the Club Lloyds current account, or if you had interest paid annually, you would get no compounding.
Having said this, I can't see an option for annual interest payment for the Club Lloyds current account. We will work out credit interest on a daily basis at the relevant Club Lloyds credit interest rate from the 2nd working day of that month and pay it to your account at the end of the first working day of the next month.
If you are talking about the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver, there is only the option of annual interest, monthly is not offered. We agree to pay you interest at a fixed rate for one year from the date you open the Account. The interest rate for your Account is set out in our Club Lloyds Monthly Saver interest rate leaflet. We will pay interest once a year on the anniversary of opening the account.
The Club Lloyds Saver offers monthly or annually, though why anyone would have this account as it pays 0.75% AER would be a mystery to me.We will pay interest once a year on the anniversary of opening the Account unless you choose to receive it monthly.

.
If you say it's not Annual, perhaps I 'm mistaken, but, will double check Could have been mistaken, so many A/cs
.Paid in £5k Last month, and £1500 from 26th last month, will see if they pay interest this month. Meant to use it as the Enhance and transfer interest out every month, as I was doing with all 3a/c's, till they dropped the rate.
May set another one up, Joint.
edit;;checked t/c's and it says it pays monthly, so I must have got it mixed up with another Ive just opened.
thanks again Archi-Bald0 -
Are you sure you got no interest for last month? Did your DDs pay out last month?0

Yes, it paid £4.50, and both DD's were paid in Interest was on the 1st Oct.
Sorry about that.
So you were correct, and thanks again:beer:0 -
Hi Archi-Bald, having a problem selecting my Lifetime choice from this a/c.Archi_Bald wrote: »Are you sure you got no interest for last month? Did your DDs pay out last month?
Just had e-mail, telling me to login and select before 22nd.
I've logged in, then clicked on Manage, which takes me to another site, and asks to log in again, but, fails every time I try
.would phoning be better?
Appreciate any advice on how to get my 3 Vue tickets.:beer:0 -

Perhaps Archi has popped out.:)
Login to Club Lloyds.
https://www.clublloyds.com
Username is sort code then account number, i.e. 14 digits total, no spaces. Separate password should be received by email.
There is little advantage to logging on though. All can be done simply over the phone. 0845-3030303 or 01733-462224. I found them very helpful in the past.0 -
Hi B_G_B, So it's not my usual login details then, it's those that you say, and a new password, BUT, how do I log in with a password that I haven't got, until received by e-mail??Perhaps Archi has popped out.:)

What password do I log in with first to receive another.?
I must be mis-reading it?
EDIT;;;Found it, it was already sent when A/c was opened , I kept, thinking I didn't need it, as I wasalready set up for online banking.
Sorry again. Must get my eyes done.:-)
.Will use the phone as you say.
Much appreciated:beer:0 -

Correct. Separate login details.
example…. sort code 01-02-03 and account number 12345678, then username will be 01020312345678.
From memory, the email with my password either got lost in the ether or ended up in my spam folder. I know there was a small issue with it that was easily sorted over the phone.0 -

Luckily I had saved the original e-mail they sent when I opened the Club A/c, and the long wnded password was in it.
All sorted without phoning, so, just have to wait for my 6 tickets to come.
Never go to the flicks now though, so, have to give them to kids/grandkids ..
