a mate of mine used to work at a biscuits factory, they did the same with OOD biscuits, repackaged them and also worked in a fish finger factory where they minced all the minging fish and made fish fingers from them! Yuck!0

I have mixed feelings about sell by dates. I lived in france for a while and the local grocers never made any pretence of cutting the mould off cheese, he used to do it in front of the customers, wiped the knife and then cut the slice size you wanted. Far as I know on one died! But I think its ludicrous that the greedy supermarkets risk our health by ( as I was told by an ex employee opening up packs of cooked meat that were on/past their sell by date and putting it out on the deli counter as though it was frsh in! Dont they make enough profit!0
