I am so thankful for friends that willingly share both the good times and the bad times and give me the chance to return the favour.
I am thankful for my family - after losing both my Mum and Dad and coming through those dark days I am so grateful for the way my OH and son and daughter pulled together to support myself and each other, we are all the stronger for it.
I am thankful for my faith - enough said - it encompasses all!
I am thankful for this site - it encourages me to save both time and money which I can invest in far more useful and fun ways and all with a great sense of humour too!
I try to see my cup as half full rather than half empty. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

You people have said it all, what else, God, kids, cats (pets etc) life, health, I am grateful for the simple things. My son is playing guitar and my daughter is reading behind my back at what I am writing, I am happy.

Well done everyone. If only all teh inhabitants of this planet would count their blessings, what a lovely place it would be.
W eshould all take a stand against 'stuff'. Stuff sellers can take a hike, cos we don't need any more stuff than the things that make our lives worth living.
God bless. :AI ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -
I suffered from depression for about 12 years and towards the end of that time I had no relief from it. Usually depression comes and goes but mine was constant. I really don't know how my BF put up with me! I'd tried the usual things like counselling and anti-depressants but two years ago I went for hypnosis to try to get over perfomance anxiety so I could play the piano in public and came away with my depression cured! I still can't quite believe that it worked but it's so wonderful to wake up in the morning and feel 'normal' and not have that terrible heavy feeling all the time. Mental illness is a terrible thing and I really do feel fortunate that hypnosis worked for me. (My BF is pleased too

I count my blessings that I'm alive and have the 'opportunity' to one day be happy and move on. I could easily have given up, but God gave me fight when he unleashed me on the World
