I recently ordered some furniture via phone from a company I had found online and was told to expect a phone call within a week about order delivery dates. I have received no further information although the money has been debited from my credit card.
Having had no order date or further contact I have tried various phone number and email addresses on their website without luck although get no answer or response to my emails. We would obviously like the furniture and am happy to wait although having had no response I am concerned about the money and am wondering what to do. Am I able to just cancel the payment through my bank and if the company do get in touch say I have changed my mind.

Okay they're a registered Ltd company in Northern Ireland.
Theres a few ways you can proceed.
When did you place the order? I presume its the freephone number you've been dialling? Not ideal but have you tried the phone number found here:

Order was place 2 weeks ago and was told would here in 2-3 days about delivery timeplaces. Am happy to wait if I can contact them and will keep trying. The number on 'yelp' just says it's been changed to the freephone one! Am just wondering what the options are if I still hear nothing over the next 2 weeks0

Easiest option would be to contact your bank/card issuer and start either a chargeback or section 75 claim.
If the items were under £100 each (by each i mean how they were advertised/priced) then chargeback would be the option available. If they were over £100, go for a section 75 claim - a section 75 claim is a claim under the consumer credit act which is a legal right (where chargeback is only available as part of visa/mastercards own policy) and makes your card company equally liable with the retailer.
If you cant contact them in any way then your options are limited to a refund I'm afraid. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Many thanks. I'll look at those options over the weekend and will hopefully hear from them in the meantime.0

The longer you leave it the less options you have.
do they have a Facebook page you can see if they have been posting?0 -
A far from perfect answer, but you may have some luck
https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=logan's+complex+cloughmills&start=0 there are various other companies on the same little estate you could try and ask if BC discount are still trading0 -
Still no luck contacting the company and I believe from others posts on their facebook page that they may be trading insolvently so am guessing I need to pursue options to get my money back.
My question now is how long do I have to wait before contacting my credit card company and starting a section 75 claim. I've tried phone and email contact with no luck and have a recorded delivery letter in the post although am not expecting any sort of response.
I suspect that as I don't have a written order (although do have proof money has disappeared from my bank account) that I won't have any way of getting money back should they go into liquidation so the credit card is the only course of action.0 -
If there's clear evidence they're insolvent and unable to fulfil their part of the contract, no need to wait any longer, just put in your claim with the card issuer.0
