Uploading 500MB of photos, but how?

A friend of ours is touring Europe (from the US) but is half way through their 1GB memory card, so I said we could upload their pictures now and thus leave them a full card to use for the remainder of the trip.
Their photobucket album is not a paid 'pro' account so FTP isn't an option, unfortunately.
Any options here? I've searched here and google for a while and not found any options as yet
Cheers

BT digital vault? Flickr?
send them to your PC?
or just buy another card, cheap nowadaysEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Cheers - pics are already on PC
Flickr looks like the one to use, however its uploader won't work - it accepts photos and then a few mins later indicates that upload failed and asks to go pro. Also their monthly upload limit is 100MB
BT Digital Vault is only free to BT Broadband customers, any other options here?
FTP is still an option but finding an online store to hold 500MB of photos is proving difficult

Hi, sent you a PM hope that's OK.

Agreed, why not just buy another card, prices are dropping through the floor.0

Why not have a look at https://www.zooomr.com? It's similar to Flickr as in it's an online photo sharing website.
Unlike flickr though, it doesn't have any upload limits so you should be able to upload your 500mb for free!!!
Zooomr is a decent site, and i've been using it for a year or so! It is a bit slow though. However, it is free, so you can't complain

could just email themselves the photos - would take a while, but uploading 500mb could (depending on speeds) take quite some time. Best soloution I'd say would be to buy another card if/when the original is full.0

Couple of options
1) Just copy the pics onto your PC then burn them onto a CD/DVD
2) Create an account (or 2 or however many are needed) at Filecloud . Better than photobucket as there is no maximum size for pics and they wont automatically resize them.
3) buy new card for camera0
