Looking for your help and knowledge here
I need to go to London for a couple of days for a family celebration and OH wants to be able to have a drink when we are there. This means using taxis to get around central London. The only problem is black cabs ramp and doorways are 70 cm wide and my chair is 76 cm wide (powerchair or my manual). I've contacted London dial a ride but my area makes me inelligible for membership. We are likely to be in the Kensington and Shepherds Bush areas and need to get from place to place quickly so we don't miss things.
Can anyone tell me of any taxi firms I could hire to do the job?
Ps. Chair Too wide for bus and train spaces too!

The newer taxis, not the traditional shaped ones but those shaped more like a people carrier with a sliding door has a wider entrance i think.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Try calling com cab. They have traditional cabs but also some much bigger cars. Am sure they will offer further suggestions if they cannot help you.0
