New boiler advice

There are two of us and a baby in a 2bed bungalow. The 2nd bedroom is pretty small. There are 5 rads in the whole house and one bathroom. My main concern is hot water flow for shower/filling bath. Should 24kw be enough or go for 28-30kw? Thanks!0

For heating hot water INSTANTLY, you want 30kW.
For lots of condensation, and getting the most from the gas you pay for, you want a small boiler like 12kW.
Yes, combis are schizophrenic. It's like asking an architect to build a house so a Zionist can live in the same house as a Palestinian.
I have a bungalow, and there is a "lean-to" boiler room in the back.
This is much safer than having a gas appliance inside the house.
You should make it big enough for:
A. A boiler with hot water cylinder, or
B. one boiler and one gas water heater.
Option B means you could have three gas appliances running simultaneously, including the cooker, so you must have the ticker 22mm gas pipe from the meter, not the old 15mm. Aka 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch.0
