Hello all!
I'm a first time poster so apologies if this has been bought up before as I couldn't find anything on the search.
I currently have a credit card, is it possible for my wife to transfer the balance onto hers or does it have to be the same person transferring money from card to card?
Thank you very much in advance.
John

That's great, thank you very much. Wonder why I couldn't find it on the search?0

"Balance transfer another person" seems to produce results, depends what you searched for.
My experience of Barclaycard they just ask for the card number, not who it was in the name of - they even encourage you to do other people's as they get a fee.
Remember if you do a transfer that debt BECOMES YOU RESPONSIBILITY i.e. you have to pay it off, you will get black markers if you don't make payments etc
Only transfer from someone you really trust and assume you will have to pay it off yourself in full and you will be prepared.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
