    Your Talk talk account page includes a link to your current months usage so should give you an idea of just how much you are using.

    This isn't an issue if you switch to another unlimited supplier but is should you opt for a limited data package and then start to stream films or BBC iplayer etc into your household.

    As previously stated, your usage is absolutely everything that you download and upload through your router.

    For most consumer level ISPs but as securityguy pointed out some ISPs only count downstream. Come to that some only count peak hours (times vary by ISP) and allow unmetered offpeak.
