The maximum amount that a person can pay per minute calling a premium rate number is £1.50 per minute (I think) and as the company that provide the premium rate number would take their cut you are looking at less

hm, ok, well is there any way you can make it so your phone charges the caller more money?

You can't get yourself a premium rate number at that sort of price for personal use. The ones starting in 09 are controlled (ok not always very well) and for companies providing a service, like technical support or one or two things we might not mention.

Personal numbering services run at 15p to about 50p, but I don't know what proportion of that you could get; even these are designed mainly for you to be able to change the destination when you want, like going abroad.

There have been a couple of threads before about an 0871 number which might earn you 4 or 5 pence a minute, but I think the idea is a bit over-rated really.
