after 3 years of quite productive comping this year has been really bad in comparison. It doesn't help that I've had health problems & being unable to sit in one place for too long means I've not been able to enter as many comps - but I'm now finding it hard to get back in the swing of thing as the less I win (which is obvious by the amount of comps I've entered) the less I feel like entering.
Can someone motivate me?

Back Comping in 2024!0 -
Ditto. Two miniscule wins all year so now comping feels like an effort. So I end up surfing the net instead, which means less chance of winning and so it goes on.
What we need is an MSE button that doesn't let you browse the rest of the site until you've entered a certain number of comps. Then it will allow 10 minutes trivia before depositing you firmly back in comp land. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
It's hard to get started again, I know. I'm doing the same myself at the moment.
Maybe focus less on what you're winning (or not winning), and more on challenging yourself to enter a certain number of competitions per day (or hour, whichever you prefer). So keep a tally of the number. That way you'll also have a better idea of how many you are entering, and you can start off slow and up your target each day or something
February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Just keep at it, Do not give up otherwise your not going to win anything!
Good luck.0 -

back on track hamsterfan1! tbh i'm feeling your pain, i'm keeping on with the thought that the halcyon days of a few wins a week will one day return. it's funny how you get thinking oh maybe it's time to stop entering but comping addiction is too strong :rotfl:Best wins: Holiday to San Francisco, Full sky package + TV, Rewind Festival tickets & Snoozebox, 5* London hotel stay, £1000 B&Q0

I think moaning really does help!
Sometimes if I have a moan I might get a little win or freebie however small! So this weekend I'm going to moan, moan, moan!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
