Ok. Ive just got a new portable tv, its a wharfdale. I have swapped around the tv scart plug so now im using it. I have 2 external speakers which I can do do without with as there is a decent speaker in the tv. How do I go around removing the speakers and getting me tv speakers to work instead. Thanks.

Ive just checked in the rear of the tv and there is a little hole for a 'jack plug'? which says audio out and obviously in the back f my pc is a same plug hole which my speakers are connected to. Im guessing I need a jack plug right? to put into the rear of tv and to the plug hole where my speakers are? Is that correct.
If so the connecter i require is called a jack plug? All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Afraid that won't work as you will be connecting 2 outputs together and you'll probably end up damaging at least one, if not both, of them. Does your TV have an audio input? Sometimes this will be a jack socket while sometimes this will be on red and white phono sockets. If it does, you'll be able to do what you want with the appropriate cable.0 -
You need an audio input on the tv - sometimes this may be near the Vga socket - as previously used that when I had a pc connected to the tv (before changed to a raspberry pi as a htpc )..
How are you currently connecting the pc to the tv?0 -
