So, I won something this evening on eBay for £20.. It's local, so asked (before buying) if I could collect and they said yes.
They've just sent a message asking if I could pay paypal for the item, inclusing the £7 postage... they will then GIVE me the £7 back in cash when I collect the item tomorrow..
Am i missing something here?

Only thing i can think of is they want the money in their paypal account to pay for something or ebay fees maybe.
Bit daft on the sellers part though as they are leaving themselves open to the old paypal on collection scam0 -
Well I collected the item and paid in cash. It was a little old lady who was sorting out her late hubbys shed.0
