Notice of attendance

We came home today to find a letter delivered by hand addressed to the previous tenant with "urgent - for immediate attention. Notice of attendance" on the front. Not wanting to open someone else's Mail I googled it and everything comes up as bailiffs. Panic! No one can come and take my stuff can they? I've sent a message to the landlord to see what he thinks but wondered if anyone on here knows what I should do please??

first thing i would do is ring the bailiffs and get them to come round and show them your tennancy agreement and a form of id
this will show them that the people whom they are looking for dont live there
  • First thing I would do is open the letter and see what it says.
