[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Celebrating all things canine, new movie Firehouse Dog hits the big screen on 20th July, following Rex the Hollywood stunt dog on a journey into small town America.
Rex, the world’s most famous – and Hollywood’s most pampered – pooch, is separated from his owner when a shoot for an advert goes wrong, and ends up as the mascot of a hapless fire station. There, he helps bright but rebellious 12-year old, Shane (Josh Hutcherson) and his dad, a veteran fire chief, turn the station into the city’s finest.
In honour of Rex and his story of bravery and courage, you have the chance to tell the world why your dog is a hero and even turn him or her into a local celebrity.
All you have to do is post an image and description of your canine’s credentials to www.makeyourdogahero.co.uk, here you can view all the other contestants and even vote on who you think should win.
If your dog is voted as the most heroic in your region, then he'll appear in a Firehouse Dog advert in your local newspaper, as well as having a chance to appear in a TV promotion.
However if that’s not enough, we’ve also joined forces with Twentieth Century Fox to offer you the chance of winning your very own summer activity set for you and your pet pooch. Enjoy your summer holiday with your very own kite and swing ball set and, Fido also gets his/her own chucka ball toy, rubber ball and K9 bubble blower.
