BOS 2nd Vantage account

What is the method for applying for more Vantage accounts after getting the first all sorted out with Bank of Scotland (BOS)?
Is it
1. Applying while NOT logged in - as per TSB experience
2. Apply when logged into the BOS banking website as per Lloyds.
...this is assuming BOS do eventually send me my internet banking log in credentials though my account does display via my Halifax login account list.
