webuyanyvehicles

Hi all

Has anyone had any dealings with these people. Have arranged for them to collect my car that i'm scrapping on Saturday and just wanted to check they are genuine. All seemed very quick on the phone when they called me so just wanted to check I wasn't going to be fleeced!!

Note, this is a different company to webuyanycar I believe as they have online reviews but I can't find any for these people

Thanks in advance

Kev

Or maybe webuyanyvehicles.co.uk owned by Lee Randino so the name would tie up with the email the OP says they got and the OP just dropped the s from the name

    Thanks for that, appreciated.

I did include the 's' in the thread title but couldn't post the link as I had lost my old details and had to sign up as a newbie.

Hopefully it's genuine as a much better offer than ive had from elsewhere

    Same person also owns ScrapMyCar4Me.co.uk

Mixed reviews but hard to separate what is fact from fiction in the reviews online

You say mixed, I say suspicious.

Plenty of 5 star and 1 star reviews, however nothing in the middle, surely someone is just satisfied.

well yeah but its like where I work, we send out feedback forms and only the people who are very happy or very p1ssed off tend to fill them in as the ones who just thought it was ok dont bother.

I confirmed with them that payment would be cash up front so no one will be taking the car without giving me the money first as I dont trust anyone that says they will bacs transfer me the money after the car is gone

I can't see what the problem is, what is it that you're worried about?

You are scrapping the car, they have offered to pay you £225 for it.

    What can they do?

Offer you less to scrap it?

Not scrap it on your behalf perhaps?

£225 is a good price for scrap Festa, well above the current scrap value infact.

Let them put the £££'s in your pocket before you release the car & nothing can go wrong.
