Got back from holiday to find 9 recorded messages from a robot wanting to put in a new boiler.
I have registered for the phone preference service - what else can I do?

Nothing much TPS have no control outside of the UK .
You can try one of the Call Blockers

Strange ! I never answer a call and always let it go the answer machine if I don't know who is calling. I have NEVER had a call left either by a human or a "robot" - unless it is genuine !0

That's just what I was thinking; I wonder if the Op is mistaking these calls for Spam when they are in fact legitimate calls offering a new boiler to qualifying households through the government scheme?yangptangkipperbang wrote: »I have NEVER had a call left either by a human or a "robot" - unless it is genuine!

these callers are also a nuisance, they dont take no for an answer.
I have a call blocker but still I get calls from numerous numbers(not a problem now I know they won't be calling me back on that particular number again) offering boilers, loft insulation etc.
they are unsolicited callers.
check out the http://whocallsme.co/ there are plenty of people complaining and reporting these calls0 -
