Please help with a name for Elves Christmas Eve hamper

Hi, I am going do the Christmas elf thing for my twins, although they are about to turn 2 so it won't be for another year or 2 yet. However, Granny is going to buy a wooden hamper/case in the next week or so to use as the Christmas Eve hamper that the elf will be leaving when he goes back to the North Pole (it will be filled with pyjamas and goodies to keep the girls occupied on Christmas Eve while I'm running around like a headless chicken)
Anyway, it is going to be personalised but I just can't think of what to have printed on it, bearing in mind it's got to be appropriate for when they're a few years older too. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas please as all mine sound so boring!
My first thought was to put merry Christmas from 'elves name'. Except I haven't even started thinking of name's yet and don't really want to commit to one as I'll probably change my mind by the time we start it
TIA

Thanks for the suggestions but I was tryin to go more traditional if that makes sense. I don't really know what I want tbh. I just know it has to be good because we'll be using it for years!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0

Ours is a boy called Snowy
I'm introducing a new one this year also but haven't decided on a name yet:rotfl:
My wee one was 18mths last year and loved Snowy. Got all excited when he had moved etc lol. I was sneaky and used to move him during the day too. How about a simple rhyme like
For giggles and to pamper; your Christmas eve hamper.
(May be a bit too old for your little ones)
Or
For squeals of delight on Christmas eve night.
Or
Open it up and in you delve, a gift from your friendly North Pole elf.
Hope you find something in time before granny gets it ordered.0 -
Thanks no_time_to_stop. Love the idea of a rhyme!
Irishrose, how was your LO when the elf went back to the North Pole? The reason I'm asking is I saw an article online the other day which said the elf had ruined Christmas as their LO cried for days when the elf went home:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

LO was grand when Snowy went back home. Christmas Day he wasn't even mentioned because of the excitement, Boxing day 2 of them asked where he was and I just said he's away back to the North Pole with Santa to see his mummy and daddy. Seemed happy enough with that excuse. All of them have been asking a lot recently about him - but that's just because of the Christmas stuff in the shops. It just adds to the excitement, and they do what they're told more often now :rotfl:
Personally I think if someone said that it ruined Christmas for their child because an elf went back home then they need to have a serious word with themselves, the child and question how they raise their child!! They also need to question their use of the Elf.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -
Totally agree! It's all about making Christmas as magical as possible for children. I do think the elf will Help with that. I can't wait!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0
