Wrong Car Colour On PCN Notice - Grounds For Appeal

I've noticed, as I was about to pay the PCN issued by Bromley Council in London, that it gives the colour of my car as Brown. DVLC has my car colour as orange. The car has never been brown.
Are these not inaccurate details on the part of the Civil Enforcement Officer? Is this a ground to appeal?

Unfortunately, the colour of the car is irrelevant. Brown and Orange could be confused.Je suis Charlie0

No but almost every PCN can be successfully challenged (on plenty of other possible grounds) with help from pepipoo forum:et_tu_brute wrote: »I've noticed, as I was about to pay the PCN issued by Bromley Council in London, that it gives the colour of my car as Brown. read a few threads then register & start your own topic there with PICTURES OF BOTH SIDES OF THE PCN and a link to Google Street View showing where you parked. No idea why you would just pay and not appeal first. What's the point...if you read the PCN on the back, it even tells you the discount gets extended & reoffered if they reject an early appeal so why rush to pay up?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
